MAKING SOMETHING THAT WORKED.

John Bruno was born and raised in Colorado. He earned his master’s degree with a focus in metallurgy from the Colorado School of Mines. He went on to become president of his own metal refining company, specializing in the recovery of precious metals from recycled electronics.

John was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2012. He has since tried countless mobility products and devices, searching for something that could effectively support his walking. Nothing worked as well as he needed. He began designing and developing his own device, refining it through years of hands-on testing until he created a solution that worked.

His daughter, Savannah, encouraged him to share his invention with others living with mobility challenges. Together, they developed GAIT-Rx to help people with foot drop and mobility difficulties walk with greater support, confidence, and independence.
